Streamlight 4AA Xenon Helmet Torch Zone 1
Description
The Streamlight Torch is without question the most rugged 4AA Torch in the market. Even the Australian Defence Force use this torch. The rear on/off button makes it easy to use with gloves on.
Best of all the Strealight Helmet Torch is rated to zone 1 intrinsically safe unlike the UK4AA which is only rated Class 1, Div 2 which is Zone 2.
Many Firefighting operations involve attending MVA’s which may have fuel spills or gas leaks. If a fuel spill or Gas leak is present then the firefighter is in a Zone 1 condition.
In other words, if a spark or flame is present then ignition is highly likley.
The rear on/off button does not have the possablility of pealing back after repeated uses therefore creating a much more reliable system.
The Streamlight in conjuction with the New Blackjack Holder is an ideal choice.
