Lay Flat Fire Fighting Hoses
This Layflat Non Percolating Fire Fighting Hose is currently the front line hose used by many of the major fire fighting agencies in Australia.
This standard Layflat is heavy duty and made of 100% Polyester yarn which is unaffected by mildew and retains its full strength when wet or dry.
This hose is lined with a lightweight extrusion of PVC/Nitrile and is exceptionally flexible and resistant to ageing and the effect of weather and ozone attack.
The Layflat Non Percolating Fire Fighting Hose has been specifically designed as a heavy duty hose for use by Fire Brigades under the most demanding conditions.
Manufactured to comply with AS2792 Class “H” with design emphasis given to durability, cost effective reliability and ease of handling.
We can couple these hoses with any fitting that will suit your requirements. Hose lengths are generally 30 metres. Standard sizes are 25mm, 38mm & 64mm.
Our Layflat Light Percolating Fire Fighting Hose is unaffected by mildew and will retain its strength and durability under all climatic conditions.
This light percolating Fire Hose Complies with AS2792 – Class H and is designed to withstand exceptionally high pressure while maintaining the self-protecting features of percolation.
Unlike many self protecting hoses that end up percolating too high or perhaps wetting the operators or losing too much pressure through the hose, our light perc hose only wets down the external jacket keeping it moist, reducing the risk of the hose getting burnt whilst being dragged on the fire ground.
This hose has a burst pressure of 5250kPa and a working pressure of 2100kPa and is available in the standard diameters of 25mm and 38mm as this is the most useful size range for a percolating fire hose. Standard lengths of 30 metres.
The unique lining of compounded RUBBER LATEX to significantly increase the life of the hose and still maintain the self-protecting features of percolation.
We are able to couple your hose with whatever fitting is suitable.
Please state what size hose you are wishing to be quoted on.
Our Diablo is the latest Forestry Fire Fighting Hose. The Diablo Fire Hose offers better abrasion resistance to give a longer service life in the field whilst still providing a constant mild percolation to self protect.
We specifically colour coded the fire hose RED, (hence the name Diablo – Devil), so that it will stand out in a locker against standard white non percolating layflat hoses. This also makes for easy hose identification when working with other agencies.
The Diablo Fire Hose has an all synthetic jacket and is unaffected by mildew and will retain its strength and durability under all climatic conditions.
